Useful Information for Choir Members

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CHOIR MEMBERS

Rehearsals for the joint concert on April 27th (Brahms’ Requiem/Vivaldi Gloria) start on Monday 7th January. If you have your own score of this music (Brahms in English), please bring them. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own copy as we can supply them.

DATES FOR ADDITIONAL REHEARSALS
There will be a number of additional rehearsals for this concert where we will join with the other choirs

Thursday March 7th – Angrove rehearsal Great Ayton Methodist Church hall 7.30pm * 

Saturday 16th March 10-3 – joint rehearsal Swainby Church Hall – bring packed lunch and drinks

Saturday 30th March 10-3 – joint rehearsal Swainby Church Hall – bring packed lunch and drinks

Thursday 25th April 7.30pm – Angrove rehearsal Great Ayton Methodist Church hall * – provisional at present

* The rehearsal may be in the Methodist Church, rather than the church hall, if insufficient space

Dates for 2018/2019 Season
Monday 3rd September - Rehearsals start, 7.30 pm (St Joseph's church hall)
Saturday 17th November - Afternoon rehearsal and evening concert at Stokesley Methodist Church - "Tuneful Twosomes"
Saturday 15th December - Afternoon rehearsal and evening concert in Stokesley Parish Church - "Annual Festival of Christmas Music"
Monday 7th January 2019 - 1st rehearsal of the year in St Joseph's Church Hall
Saturday 27th April 2019 - Afternoon rehearsal and evening concert in Stockton Parish Church - Brahms’ Requiem (sung in English), Zadok the Priest, Vivaldi Gloria. This is a joint concert with Angrove Singers and Vox choir with full orchestra (hence the larger venue)
